Multi-campus network rebuilt from the ground up
K-12 school, 1,200 students
The situation
A K-12 school with 1,200 students across multiple campuses was running on an old, outdated network set up like a flat home network. It badly needed an upgrade, especially with a Chromebook rollout on the way.
What we did
We planned the multi-campus upgrade and did the work in-house. We rebuilt the network from the ground up as an enterprise-style network, with a new fiber backbone, firewall, switches and Wi-Fi, and traffic separated into secure segments (VLANs). We also rolled out Chromebooks, installed new security cameras and VoIP phones, and automated a number of routine IT tasks.
The result
Every campus now runs on an enterprise-grade network, with the coverage and capacity to support Chromebooks for students and staff.
